Question 1

What is Planit?

Accepted Answer

Planit is a free AI calendar built for students. You talk or type to Nova — a built-in AI assistant — to add, move and check things on your schedule, and Planit keeps it synced with Canvas and Blackboard so your assignments and classes are always current.

Question 2

How is Planit different from a normal calendar?

Accepted Answer

You don't fill out event forms. You say or type what you want — “dentist Thursday 3pm”, “move my study block to Friday”, “what's my week look like” — and Nova makes the change. It also pulls your real school schedule from Canvas or Blackboard instead of making you enter it.

Question 3

Can I use my voice?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anywhere you can type to Nova — the calendar command bar, the chat, the home composer — there's a mic. Speak the change and she makes it.

Question 4

Does Planit work with Canvas and Blackboard?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Paste your calendar feed URL (Canvas: Calendar → Calendar Feed; Blackboard has an equivalent), no school admin needed. Planit imports your assignments, events and class schedule and keeps them current while the app is open.

Question 5

Who is Planit for?

Accepted Answer

High school and college students. Planit models a real academic term — semester weeks, credit hours, per-class schedules — rather than treating school as generic to-do lists.
